About the event

The objective of the workshop is to strengthening national capacities to develop-update forest action plans with measure to enhance the contribution of trees and forests to socio-economic recovery and inclusive sustainable development. The workshop will discuss the guidelines for addressing the impacts of the pandemic and building on long-term recovery and contributions of forests to inclusive sustainable development at the and actions to develop or update national forest action plans with measures to enhance the contributions of forests to socio-economic recovery. Participants will also share national experiences and lessons learnt in responding to the pandemic and suggested measures and strategies for recovery.
