Submit Your Energy Compact
Energy Compacts offer an inclusive platform open to all stakeholders—national governments, regional and local authorities, private sector companies, financial institutions, UN agencies, and civil society organizations. Stakeholders are encouraged to develop and submit Energy Compacts at any point during the Decade of Action, aligning their commitments with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Agreement. Cross-sectoral and thematic Compacts involving multiple partners are also welcome, fostering collaboration and impact across the energy ecosystem.
Follow these steps to formally express your Interest in the Energy Compacts:
- Download and complete the Expression of Interest.
- Submit your Energy Compact Expression of Interest form for review to the Energy Compact team by emailing your draft to energycompact@seforall.org and un-energycompact@un.org.
- A team of UN-Energy experts will get back to you and send you the details on the Energy Compact submission process and template.
- In case of queries and for further information on the Energy Compacts submission process, please contact energycompact@seforall.org and un-energycompact@un.org.

Join a Multi-Stakeholder Compact
Interested in contributing to collective action on clean energy? Multi-stakeholder Energy Compacts bring together governments, companies, civil society, and international organizations around shared goals. Each Compact has its own focus area and sign-up process. To join, please visit the Energy Compacts Registry and navigate to the specific Compact page of interest—there, you’ll find detailed information and the relevant sign-up form.
Join a Workshop
UN-Energy periodically hosts workshops for prospective Energy Compact proponents to learn more about the process and how to best develop actions and commitments. If you would like to join or co-host a workshop for your constituency, please contact us at energycompact@seforall.org
