Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.M. King Felipe VI of Spain

The Secretary-General met today with H.M. King Felipe VI of Spain. They discussed a number of global challenges, including sustainable development and climate change. The Secretary-General thanked Spain for its support for the UN’s efforts in Libya. He also commended Spain for its role in the Security Council.

Finally, the Secretary-General emphasized the need for a renewed push to resolve the situation in Western Sahara.
