The Secretary-General met today with His Majesty King Mswati III of the Kingdom of Swaziland, on the margins of the Third United Nations World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction.

The Secretary-General commended the King on efforts to address income inequality and poverty eradication and to fight the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the country.

They also discussed the sustainable development agenda and the situation in Lesotho.
