Read Out of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai

The Secretary-General met today with H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid                        Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.

The Secretary-General congratulated H.H. Sheikh Mohammed on the successful holding of the third Government Summit. 

The Secretary-General and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed discussed several regional issues of mutual interest, including Yemen, Syria and Libya.

The Secretary-General underscored the importance of the forthcoming humanitarian pledging conference for Syria in Kuwait.
