The Secretary-General and President Mujica discussed several issues on the global agenda. The Secretary-General praised the strong support that Uruguay lends to UN priorities.  In particular, he welcomed that Uruguay is one of the highest per-capita contributors to UN peacekeeping operations worldwide. The Secretary-General expressed gratitude for the country’s support for UN reform through the Delivering as One approach.
