The Secretary-General met today with His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait.  During the meeting, they discussed the situation in Syria, with the Secretary-General thanking the Prime Minister for Kuwait’s generous humanitarian support to United Nations efforts there.  The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister also discussed the ongoing improvement of ties between Kuwait and Iraq.
