Readout of Secretary-General’s meeting with the President of Senegal, H.E. Mr. Macky Sall

The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Macky Sall, the President of Senegal, in Addis Ababa today.

They discussed the situation in Mali and the Sahel as well as in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo and progress towards implementation of the Peace, Security and Cooperation Framework Agreement, led by Special Envoy Mary Robinson.

The Secretary-General and the President also exchanged views on the situation in Guinea-Bissau.
