Today the Advisory Committee started its winter session. The Committee will consider a wide variety of items including reports on human resources management, accountability and peacekeeping. This session will end on 26 April 2024.
Today, Chairman Abdallah Bachar Bong introduced to the Fifth Committee of the General Assembly the Advisory Committee’s report on financial reports, audited financial statements and reports of the Board of Auditors for the period ended 31 December 2022, as well as the Secretary-General’s report on the implementation of the recommendations of the Board for the same period (A/78/578).
The Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (ACABQ), Mr. Abdallah Bachar Bong, introduced today the Committee's first report on the proposed programme budget for 2024 (A/78/7) to the Fifth Committee of the General Assembly.
