Capacity Development and Advisory Services
Yemen
During the period 2007-2011, DPAD, in close collaboration with the World Bank, assisted policymakers in Yemen with understanding the impact of MDG strategies. Capacity development activities were conducted to strengthen policymakers' analytical capacities to assess public policies and financing mechanisms that could put the country on track to achieve development goals.
The main national counterpart of the DPAD in Yemen was the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MOPIC). The Regional Bureau for Arab States (RBAS) was a key partner in funding and logistical support. The World Bank provided technical support during the implementation of capacity development projects.
