Informal Ad Hoc Working Group on UN80 Initiative

About us

In its resolution 79/318 of 18 July 2025, the General Assembly endorsed the overall direction of the UN80 Initiative and reaffirmed the central role of Member States in the reform process. Building on this, through decision 79/571, it established the Informal Ad Hoc Working Group (IAHWG) under Workstream 2.

Co-chairs of the IAHWG

The President of the 79th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Philemon Yang, appointed the following Permanent Representatives as Co-Chairs of the Informal Ad Hoc Working Group:
