Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Ms. Michaëlle Jean,
Secretary-General of the International Organization of La Francophonie (IOF)

The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Ms. Michaëlle Jean, Secretary-General of the International Organization of La Francophonie.

They discussed peace and security challenges in a number of Francophone countries. They also exchanged views on the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. Finally, the Secretary-General and Ms. Jean agreed on the need to address the causes and impact of migration.
