The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Chérif Mahamat Zène, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chad. The Secretary-General and the Minister discussed the implementation of the political transition in Chad, the regional dimension, and related external support. The Secretary-General thanked Chad for its important contribution to regional stability, notably in the Sahel.

Le Secrétaire général a rencontré Son Excellence M. Chérif Mahamat Zène, Ministre des Affaires Etrangères de la République du Tchad. Le Secrétaire général et le Ministre ont discuté de la mise en œuvre de la transition politique au Tchad, de la dimension régionale, ainsi que de l´appui externe à la transition. Le Secrétaire général a salué la contribution importante du Tchad à la stabilité régionale, notamment dans le Sahel.
