The Secretary-General expresses his concern over reports of heightened tensions on the island of Anjouan and calls on all concerned to exercise calm and utmost restraint in the interest of peace and stability in the Comoros.

The Secretary-General exhorts all Comorian political actors to return to the Inter-Comorian dialogue which began under the facilitation of the African Union High Representative, Mr. Ramtane Lamamra, and urges the Government, political parties and civil society organizations to implement the confidence-building measures agreed to, in support of an inclusive dialogue process.

Le Secrétaire général exprime sa  préoccupation face aux informations faisant état de tensions accrues sur l'île d'Anjouan et appelle toutes les parties concernées à faire preuve de calme et de retenue dans l'intérêt de la paix et de la stabilité aux Comores.
 
Le Secrétaire général exhorte tous les acteurs politiques comoriens à reprendre le dialogue inter-comorien entamé sous la facilitation du Haut Représentant de l'Union africaine, M. Ramtane Lamamra, et demande au gouvernement, aux partis politiques et aux organisations de la société civile de mettre en œuvre les mesures d’apaisement convenues, en appui à un processus de dialogue inclusif.
