The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea.

The Secretary-General commended the important commitments made during the latest inter-Korean summit and President Moon’s engagement in the process. Both shared views about the upcoming steps towards sustainable peace and complete and verifiable denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. The Secretary-General gave his assurances on the support of the United Nations to President Moon’s efforts.
