There is no doubt: innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, 5G and the Internet of Things can help us achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and improve the lives of all.
 
We must harness the opportunities they bring while mitigating the risks.
 
Small and medium enterprises, like those gathered in your event, have a crucial role.
 
And the report of my High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation can guide our efforts.
 
It calls for improved connectivity, smart regulation that fosters innovation, and a global digital architecture that promotes trust, security, and cooperation.
 
Together, we can ensure a prosperous, inclusive and safe digital future for all.
