The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Michel Temer, President of Brazil.

The Secretary-General underlined the important role played by Brazil in support of multilateralism and its cooperation with the UN on global and regional issues.  

The Secretary-General expressed appreciation for Brazil’s longstanding contribution to UN peacekeeping and to peacebuilding efforts in Guinea-Bissau.
