The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Pravind Jugnauth, Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius.
 
The Secretary-General commended Mauritius for its role in meeting peace, security and environmental challenges in the Indian Ocean region. The Secretary-General and Prime Minister Jugnauth also exchanged views on the challenges of climate change for Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
