The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Witold Waszczykowski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
 
The Secretary-General expressed his gratitude for Poland’s readiness to further contribute to UN peacekeeping operations, expressing his view that the diversification of troop and police contributing countries is crucial to a more effective peace architecture.
 
The Secretary-General and the Foreign Minister also discussed regional developments, including the situation in Ukraine.
