The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Sauli Niinistö, President of the Republic of Finland. They discussed recent developments regarding the large movements of refugees and migrants towards Europe, and climate change. 

The Secretary-General also thanked Finland for its contributions and support to the United Nations in the areas of gender, development and mediation.
