The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Filip Vujanovic, President of Montenegro.

The Secretary-General and the President welcomed the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Secretary-General expressed his appreciation for the excellent cooperation between Montenegro and the United Nations and encouraged Montenegro to reflect the SDGs in its national policies and legislation. The Secretary-General and the President also discussed issues related to regional cooperation in the Western Balkans.
