The Secretary-General met with the Speaker of the Israeli Knesset, Mr. Yuli-Yoel Edelstein.

They discussed the Secretary-General's sustainable development agenda and the critical role that parliaments play on driving related areas forward. The Secretary-General and Mr. Edelstein also exchanged views on the Middle East, including on the Middle East peace process; and shared their views on the Iran nuclear agreement.
