In response to questions asking to confirm that the Foreign Minister of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) would be meeting the Secretary-General on the sidelines of the 22 April signing ceremony in New York for the Paris Agreement, the Spokesman has the following to say:

I can confirm the participation of the DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Su-yong at the signing ceremony on 22 April. However, I cannot confirm,  nor can I comment on, a reported meeting between the Secretary-General and the Foreign Minister while he's in New York.
