On Thursday, 30 March, the Deputy Secretary-General will depart New York for Washington, D.C. for meetings at the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. She will also meet with representatives from civil society. On Saturday, 1 April, the Deputy Secretary-General will travel to Geneva for a series of meetings, including with representatives of various UN organizations based there. She will also attend a meeting of the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC). On Tuesday, 4 April, the Deputy Secretary-General will travel to Paris to deliver a keynote address at the OECD Global Forum on Development. She will also visit UNESCO and meet with senior government officials and others on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Agreement on climate change. The Deputy Secretary-General will return to New York on Wednesday, 5 April 2017. |
