| On 14 October 2017, the Deputy Secretary-General will depart New York for Fiji, to participate in the Pre-COP to the 23rd Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Whilst in Nadi, the Deputy Secretary-General will deliver keynote addresses to the non-state actors partnership day on 16 October and to the opening of the Pre-Cop on 17 October. She will hold bilateral meetings with senior level officials from the participating countries, the business community as well as the civil society and the United Nations Country Team. The Deputy Secretary-General will return to New York on Wednesday, 18 October 2017. |
