Smoking and vaping at the UNHQ

General Assembly resolution 63/8 established a complete ban on smoking inside United Nations Headquarters. Smoking is permitted only in designated open-air areas that are marked and signposted.

As the United Nations Peace and Development Trust Fund enters its second decade, its Steering Committee approved some USD 17.8 million in funding for 21 projects across the world this year.
