Steven Philip is a Senior Adviser on Communications and Media, as well as the Lead on Digital and Social Media Communications for the President of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Previously, he served as the Digital and Social Media Adviser in both the 76th and 77th sessions.
Before joining the OPGA, Steven spent four years supporting communications and digital diplomacy initiatives with the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations in New York. Furthermore, he contributed to covering Economic and Social Committee issues in the G77 and on the issue of Security Council reform. Notably, he was part of the publishing committee for the Handbook on Security Council reform by the L.69 Group.
He is an American national of Indian origin and was raised in both India and Kuwait.
