Öncü Keçeli
Prior to joining the Office of the President of the General Assembly, Mr. Keçeli was the Political Coordinator at the Permanent Mission of Turkey to the United Nations in New York – a position that he had held since 2018.
Mr. Keçeli joined the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2005. He has served in Embassies in Washington, DC, and Baku, in the cabinets of the Foreign Minister and the Undersecretary, and on the Middle East desk in Ankara.
He has also worked as a reporter and sociology teacher.
Mr. Keçeli holds a PhD in Political Science, and MA and MS degrees in International Relations and Political Science.
