Readout of the meeting between the President of the General Assembly and Billie Jean King, Founder of the Billie Jean King Foundation

On Tuesday, 14 May 2024, President of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Dennis Francis, met with Billie Jean King, Founder of the Billie Jean King Foundation.

The President of the General Assembly and Billie Jean King discussed the importance of youth leadership, including opportunities to elevate this key issue at the United Nations. Among others, they also touched on issues of gender equality and youth empowerment.
