on Eid-ul-Fitr

My warmest greetings to the Muslim community around the world on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr.
May this day of Eid bring harmony, unity, and prosperity to every corner of our globe.
As we gather to mark this auspicious occasion, let us remember the true essence of Eid. Eid is a moment of joy, reflection and sacrifice.
It is a time to express our gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon us and to reflect on the teachings of compassion, generosity, and unity that Eid embodies.
Let us extend our hand in friendship and solidarity, especially to our brothers and sisters affected by conflict, especially to the people in the Gaza strip, who are facing unimaginable challenges.
We stand with them in solidarity, praying for peace and for relief from hunger and deprivation.
May this Eid serve as a reminder of the unique strength and resilience of the human spirit, and may it inspire us all to work with dedication towards peace, equality and justice for all.
let us therefore recommit ourselves to fostering understanding and tolerance and upholding the rights and dignity of all peoples, regardless of race, religion or nationality.
As the new moon brings this holy month to a close, let us all do our part to usher in a time of peace and reconciliation – and to ensure that no one is left behind.
I wish you and your loved ones all the blessings of Eid.
