The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Dennis Francis, had a coordination meeting with H.E. Ms. Vanessa Frazier, Permanent Representative of Malta to the United Nations and the President of the Security Council for the month of April 2024.
Ambassador Frazier briefed the President on the programme of work of the Security Council during Malta’s Presidency, including Malta’s signature events on children and armed conflict and the role of young persons in addressing security challenges in the Mediterranean.
President Francis and Ambassador Frazier further discussed the developments in the Middle East.
The meeting took place at the President’s Office at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, on 27 March 2024.
