GENERAL ASSEMBLY PRESIDENT WILL HOLD A PRESS CONFERENCE ON 28 SEPTEMBER 2023
UNITED NATIONS, New York, 25 September 2023 — The President of the United Nations General Assembly (PGA), H.E Mr. Dennis Francis, will hold a Press Conference on 28 September 2023, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Mr. Francis will speak on the outcome of the High-Level Week including the General Debate with international leaders which was held from 19-26 September 2023.
The PGA will outline his Agenda for the 78th Session of the General Assembly under the theme: “Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and sustainability for all.” Mr. Dennis Francis will deliver opening remarks for five minutes before taking questions from correspondents. The press conference will be webcast live on UN Web TV and on X (former Twitter).
