The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Peter Thomson met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, H.E. Mrs. Retno L.P. Marsudi, and had a productive bilateral meeting.
The President expressed his appreciation for Indonesia’s support to his presidency and its strong commitment in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, and in this regard emphasized the need to promote education on SDGs to students and young generation.
Mr Thomson also recognized the active role of Indonesia in the maintenance of peace and security, including through PKO missions.
