The Second International Migration Review Forum to be convened under the auspices of the General Assembly and be chaired by the President of the General Assembly, serves as the primary intergovernmental global platform to discuss and share progress on the implementation of all aspects of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM). The Forum will take place from Tuesday, 5 May to Friday, 8 May 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, preceded by a multi-stakeholder hearing on Monday, 4 May 2026
The application for special accreditation is NOW OPEN and will close on 18 December 2025.
Special accreditation will take place on the Civil Society Platform.

Note: Organizations in Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), accredited to the GCM preparatory process, as well as the Marrakesh Conference to adopt The Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration as outlined in General Assembly resolution A/RES/73/326 (check the consolidated list here), DO NOT NEED TO APPLY for this special accreditation. Once the accreditation period is over, information on registration for stakeholders will be provided.
