On 11 December, the UN Postal Administration (UNPA) issued special event stamps to commemorate the seventy-fifth anniversary of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

The theme of the anniversary is Reimagine the Future for Every Child.

The text on the stamp sheet reads:

For 75 years, UNICEF has been an unstoppable force for change in children’s lives. From short-term relief to long-term development programmes, we have been working tirelessly to save children’s lives, protect their rights and secure their futures.

The sheet of 10 stamps is in the denomination of $1.30.

From left to right column, top to bottom, the following unique themes are displayed: health, mental health, gender, climate, nutrition, disability, water sanitation hygiene, vaccination, humanitarian response, and education.

The stamp sheet is the work of the UNICEF Brand Team in New York:

  • Designed by Jihye Kang, Brand Designer

  • Art Direction by Matias Delfino, Lead Brand Designer

  • Overall creative direction by Mary Lynn Lalonde, Chief of Brand, UNICEF
