Project Objectives

The Information for Decision-making for Sustainable Development (IDSD) project seeks to facilitate the development of in-country capacity of reporting to international fora, as well as to meet their own needs to make effective and reasonable decisions regarding their economic and social development.

The IDSD project will address these two challenges through:

	developing capacity at the national level to handle and manage data;
	encouraging the use and creation of integrated data management systems through providing access and training to available tools and methodologies; and
	training personnel both in the use of these systems and in identifying effective approaches for handling the multilateral environmental agency reporting process.
