The Financing for Development Office will organize an event, entitled “The Inter-Agency Task Force on Financing for Development: Monitoring progress on the means of implementation of the 2030 Agenda”, in the side lines of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, to be held on 12 July 2016 at 1:15 – 2:30 PM, in Conference Room 6 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The side event aims to familiarize participants of the High Level Political Forum with the inaugural Task Force report, present information on the Task Force’s work programme for 2017, and seek feedback from Member States, CSOs, and other relevant stakeholders. The meeting will also present ideas from Task Force members for inter-agency coordination under the umbrella of the Task Force.
