Generation Peace

Youth leading change

They are standing on the right side of history.

From classrooms to rural centres, from city streets to social feeds, young people and grassroots youth organizations are demanding change, challenging injustice and driving solutions for a more just and peaceful future. Refusing to be sidelined, with courage and conviction they are proving every day that youth are not just leaders of tomorrow, but changemakers today.

This month we shine a light on the United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY), leading the way by building a world free from violence.

The United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY)

#Youth4Peace

UNOY is a global community of 118 youth-led organizations in 71 countries. Together, we are building a world free from violence.

Young people have the power to transform conflict and create inclusive and peaceful societies. We drive peace by working on gender equality, climate, civic action, community building, peace education, arts and more.

Through the UNOY network, we share our knowledge and expertise, strengthen our capacities, and stand united in solidarity.

Collectively, we advocate for young people to be included in decisions related to peace and security.

“Youth are not just future leaders but essential changemakers in the present, driving meaningful progress towards peace.”
