Registration and Access

On Friday 16 and Saturday 17 September, Member State delegates and their staff; staff members of the United Nations Secretariat and of the funds, programmes and agencies of the United Nations system; accredited media; and affiliates with a valid United Nations grounds pass (or a Laissez Passer where applicable) will be able to access UN headquarters complex and attend the Summit events.

All other actors (civil society, non-governmental organizations, the private sector etc) are required to register online to secure a special events ticket. Please see link to registration below.

On Monday 19 September, in-person access to Summit Leaders Day proceedings will be restricted to participants – whether member states, UN staff, accredited media, civil society or otherwise – who are in possession of a valid secondary access pass. Please see links to registration below.

Member States

Member States, Observers, IGOs and Specialized Agencies

Official delegations, including all government entities and offices representatives are required to submit their registration requests through the designated focal points in New York using the e-deleGATE portal by 9 September.

United Nations

Staff members of the United Nations secretariat, Funds and Programmes, other Entities and Bodies and Related Organizations (except Specialized Agencies)

All interested participants are invited to fill out the online expression of interest form link available on INDICO by 9 September.

Stakeholders

Youth, Civil Society, Private Sector & others

* Please note that there will only be a limited number of spaces available for other participants at the Transforming Education Summit Leaders Day. Letters on invitation to participate at the summit do not grant access to the UNHQ building. Access will only be possible for those who had their expression of interest accepted by the Summit secretariat and that are in possession of government-issued identification and a special event ticket (indicating the specific meeting, date) obtained through the Summit secretariat.
