Synergizing AI, Social Science, STEM and Finance: Building Inclusive Futures for Women and Girls
The 11th Assembly supports the 2026 United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) theme of “Transformative, equitable, innovative and coordinated actions for the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for a sustainable future for all.” It will bring together women in science, global experts, government officials, and international and private-sector representatives to advance the three pillars of sustainable development: economic prosperity, social justice, and environmental integrity. Discussions will focus on the SDGs under in-depth review at the HLPF: Goals 6, 7, 9, 11, and 17.
Past Observances
From facilitating the UNGA Resolution A/RES/70/212, to being the main coordinator of commemorating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the journey of the Royal Academy of Science International Trust (RASIT) continues to work with UN Member States, Inter-Governmental Organizations and the United Nations and its entities to achieve equality in science, technology, and innovation for socio-economic sustainable development in line with Agenda 2030 and the SDGs.
