CPD59 General information for NGOs

The fifty-ninth session of the Commission on Population and Development will take place at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 13 to 17 April 2026. The special theme of the session is “Population, technology and research in the context of sustainable development”. 

NGOs that are accredited to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) may designate representatives to attend the annual session. 

Pre-registration 

Online pre-registration is now open in Indico. Full information and the registration form are available here.

A maximum of 10 registrations per organization are permitted and must be approved in Indico by the  organization’s focal point. The deadline for registration and approval is 13 March 2026.
