The role of the Board

UNCCT benefits from the advice of an Advisory Board consisting of 20 Member States and the European Union (EU) as guest member. Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, chairs the Advisory Board.

The UNCCT Advisory Board provides advice to the UNCCT Executive Director, the Under-Secretary-General of UNOCT, on the Centre’s programme of work including budget, programmes and projects.

The Centre updates the Advisory Board on a quarterly basis on the progress in the implementation of its programmes and projects. UNCCT also submits Annual Reports, which report on the substantive and financial performance of all capacity-building programmes and projects implemented during the reporting year, programme management, engagement with the Advisory Board, Member States and UN entities, communications and visibility, resource mobilization, and strategic priorities.

UNCCT 2017 Annual Report

5-Year Programme of Work
