The President of the General Assembly will convene the Second International Migration Review Forum from 5 to 8 May 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, preceded by a multi-stakeholder hearing on Monday, 4 May 2026.
In accordance with General Assembly Resolutions 73/195 and 73/326, the Forum will consist of:
- 5-6 May: Four interactive Multi-Stakeholder Roundtables
- 6 May: Policy Debate
- 7-8 May: Plenary Meetings
Organizations invited to register up to 5 representatives include:
- Those who were accredited to the preparatory process of the intergovernmental consultations of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM)
- Those who were accredited to participate in the Intergovernmental Conference to Adopt the GCM
- Those who are accredited for the Second International Migration Review Forum
- National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) compliant with the Paris Principles (Resolution 48/134, annex)
