Summary:
A workshop on the strategies and best practices for crime prevention, in particular in relation to urban crime and youth at risk was organized with the assistance of the International Centre for the Prevention of Crime. During the first session Panel presentations were made on the topic: Urban Crime. A keynote address was delivered by the Hon. Mr. Christopher Martin Ellison, Minister of Justice and Customs, Australia.
Statements were made by delegates of Australia, El Salvador, Italy, Sweden, Oman, Finland, France, Argentina, Morocco, United States of America and Samoa. Statements were made by observers of the International Centre for the Prevention of Crime, UN-Habitat, Open Society Justice Initiative and the Safer Cities Programme. Five individual experts also made statements. |

Continuation of Workshop 6. Measures to Combat Computer-related crime
Summary:
A workshop on the measures to combat computer-related crime was organized with the assistance of the Korean Institute of Criminology. During the second session presentations were made on the topic: Resources and International Cooperation for Combating Cybercrime.
Statements were made by the representatives of Italy, Egypt, Canada, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Algeria, United States of America, United Kingdom and Argentina. Statements were also made by an observer of ECPAT. |

Statements were made by observers of Youth Justice Board, Crime Concern, Mission Australia, Children in Organized Armed Violence (COAV) Viva Rio, Children without Borders, Defence for Children International and American Society of Criminology.
Statements were made by six individual experts. |
