Workshop 2. Enhancing Criminal Justice Reform, including Restorative Justice
Summary:
A workshop on the enhancement of criminal justice reform, including restorative justice, was organized with the assistance of the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy (ICCLR). The first meeting consisted of a Panel during which presentations were made on the topic of criminal justice reform.
An introductory statement was made by representative of the secretariat. Statements were made by representatives of Canada, United Kingdom, Ghana, Finland, Algeria, Senegal, Pakistan, Morocco and Turkey. Statements were made by observers from International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice, University of Toronto (Canada), the British Council, the Irish Centre for Human Rights and the Latin American Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders. Statements were also made by three individual expert observers.

Continuation of Workshop 4. Measures to Combat Terrorism, with Reference to the Relevant International Conventions and Protocols
Summary:
A workshop on measures to combat terrorism, with reference to the relevant international conventions and protocols was organized with the assistance from the International Institute of Higher Studies in Criminal Sciences. The second session consisted of a panel during which presentations were made on the topic: technical assistance for reinforcing anti-terrorism capacities. Statements were made by delegates of Indonesia, Egypt, Argentina, Algeria, China, Syria, United States of America, Iran, France, Afghanistan and Austria. Statements were made by observes of the International Association of Penal Law, International Society of Social Defense and Human Criminal Policy. A statement was also made by an individual expert.

Summary:
A workshop on the enhancement of criminal justice reform, including restorative justice, was organized with the assistance of the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy (ICCLR). The second session consisted of a panel during which presentations were made on the topic: Restorative Justice, Youth and Vulnerable groups. Statements were made by the representatives of Benin, Malawi, Oman, Egypt, France, Samoa and United Arab Emirates. Statements were made by observers of the Centre for Justice Reconciliation at Prison Fellowship International, UNICEF, the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy, International Bureau for Children’s Rights, Defense for Children International and World Society of Victimology. Statements were made by five individual expert observers: Latin American Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders, Institute for Security Studies, United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Institute and Australian Institute of Criminology.

Workshop 6. Measures to Combat Computer-related Crime
Summary:
A workshop on measures to combat computer-related crime was organized with the assistance of the Korean Institute of Criminology. During the first session presentations were made on the topic: Cybercrime - Theory and Practice. Statements were made by the representatives of Canada, Ukraine, Austria, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, France, Spain, United Kingdom, Argentina, Morocco and Chile. Statements were also made by 3 individual experts.
