Sustainable Development Goals

Jessica Biying Zheng is an intern within the Office of the President of the 71st Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Her special focus is on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Jessica has previously worked in the private and public sectors, advocating for Sustainable Development and Education Empowerment. In 2013, Jessica took part in the Carbon Trading System implementation and organized events for the Energy Conservation Museum in Shanghai. In 2015, she interned at the ABB Group.
Before joining the United Nations, Jessica worked in academia as a Research Assistant. She had experience teaching and designing curriculum at elementary, high school, and at university level.
Jessica has a degree in International Relations from University of British Columbia. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, French, Cantonese, and speaks some Spanish.
