ECOSOC FfD Forum Outcome
In paragraph 132 of the Addis Ababa Action Agenda, Member States decided that the FfD Forum is to result in intergovernmentally agreed conclusions and recommendations that will be fed into the overall follow-up and review of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development.
Pursuant to General Assembly resolution 70/192 on Follow-up to the International Conference on Financing for Development, the President of ECOSOC appointed two co-facilitators, namely H.E. Mr. Jean-Francis Regis Zinsou, Permanent Representative of Benin to the United Nations, and H.E. Mr. Vladimir Drobnjak, Permanent Representative of Croatia to the United Nations, to prepare the draft conclusions and recommendations and facilitate consultations among Member States with a view to reaching an intergovernmentally agreed outcome on that draft.
Intergovernmentally agreed conclusions and recommendations of the FfD Forum were adopted on Wednesday, 20 April, 2016.
