The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the Department of Public Information (DPI), are organizing the webcast debate, “Face to Face”, on “Education, human rights, and conflict”, to be held on 4 July 2011 during the High-level Segment of ECOSOC in Geneva at 3 p.m. The debate coincides with the issuance of the 2011 Education for All Global Monitoring Report of UNESCO on “The hidden crisis: Armed conflict and education”.
