2. Meeting records (Content Code B03)


Summary records are issued for public and closed meetings in the working languages of the treaty body.

Refer to the Guidelines for specific types of UN documents and publications: Meeting records for guidance on subject analysis of meeting records. Summary records of human rights treaty bodies for meetings at which periodic reports of States parties were considered are mainly indexed with the primary subjects (tag 650 first indicator 1) for the overall subject area of the treaty and reports, the term PERIODIC REPORTS, and the geographic subject terms for the States parties concerned. Additional primary subject terms may be assigned if there is a particular focus on specific issues. Assign the title subject (tag 630) for the treaty under which the periodic report was submitted. In general, secondary subject terms are not required.
