The UN’s largest annual forum dedicated to gender equality and women’s rights is taking place from 9-19 March.
This year’s 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is taking place alongside International Women's Day, and a key moment to reaffirm commitments and accelerate progress. The global community is at a critical juncture: advancing gender equality requires renewed political will, resources, and collective action to ensure that the rights of women and girls are protected and expanded everywhere.
